Apr 16,  · "t's fun how it is named "absolutely live" when Paul Rotchild mixed it from over edits of Doors' miscellaneous concerts." I had no idea thought it was a live recording from a show in NY because Morrison says, "hello NY!!.." Amazing LP regardless. Definitely one of my favorite Doors albums/5().

That one is for its audio quality certainly better (it is then probably also one of the best live albums I have) but 'Absolutely Live' is certainly a must have for all fans of The Doors. I got this on vinyl and the LP's are pressed on 2 heavy high quality vinyl/5().

"Absolutely Live" was a turntable favorite of his as he would feature several songs from it whenever he devoted his nightly PMPM specials to Doors music exclusively. He alone turned me on to this record in early when the other stations shied away from it/5().
